No cookies. No account. No personal data collection beyond the name you choose to put on the leaderboard.
Protein Duel operator, contact: exiztern@gmail.com.
Your longest streak (best score) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage, under the key proteinDuelBest. This value is never sent anywhere — not to us, not to anyone else. If you clear your browser data for this site, the record disappears.
Protein Duel has an optional public leaderboard. When a streak ends, it's submitted together with the name you've set (or "Anonymous" if you haven't set one) to our database, so it can be shown to every visitor. The name is whatever you type — don't use your real name or anything identifying if you'd rather not. Your chosen name is also saved in your browser's localStorage under the key proteinDuelName so it's remembered next time. We don't collect an email, IP-based identity, or account tied to a leaderboard entry — anyone can submit any name. Entries aren't automatically deleted; contact us (above) to request removal of a specific entry.
The site uses no cookies and no cross-site tracking. We don't run ads.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, load performance). It's cookieless and doesn't use any persistent or cross-site identifier to track you individually — see cloudflare.com/web-analytics. No personal data is collected through it.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network, which technically delivers it. Standard technical logs (e.g. IP address in access logs) may be generated at this hosting layer, outside the game operator's control — governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Even with this minimal data processing, under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict processing of, object to, and port any personal data that may be processed (typically only at the hosting layer, see above). You can file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
